Top 10 Best Dog Friendly Restaurants in Tampa Bay

Top 10 Best Dog Friendly Restaurants in Tampa Bay

We have so many sunny days here in Florida which allow us to be outdoors with our dogs. Many of us will take our pooch out for a drive, to the park, to a dog-friendly beach, and even when we run errands. Then, while we are out, we get hungry and may want to stop for a bite to eat. Most people might grab something from a convenience store or maybe from a fast food restaurant, or they may wait until they go home to eat.

But since we live in Dog Friendly Florida, we don’t have to eat on the run or wait until we get home.  The reason? Many good restaurants are also dog-friendly restaurants here in the Tampa Bay area.

I have created a list of what I consider the best restaurants in Tampa Bay, or at least my top 10 Best Dog Friendly Restaurants in Tampa Bay.  Number One will be considered one of my favorite restaurants in Tampa Bay.  So enjoy the list. But more importantly, enjoy the time out with your canine companion.

10. Panera Bread

Panera Logo

The reason Panera even made my list, is because their restaurants are not subject to closure between lunch and dinner. That is inevitably the most common time for me to desire lunch. As a result, Panera is a wonderful default restaurant to dine, with your furry buddy, whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner at their outdoor tables. So, enjoy the tasty menu when you are ready to eat while out with your pup.

Visit Panera’s website to find Restaurants Near Me so you may enjoy some additional time out with your dog. https://www-beta.panerabread.com/en-us/cafe-locator.html

Yet, another Mexican Restaurant has made it to my list. This good Tampa Restaurant has a covered outdoor area which is dog friendly. Depending on the wait staff that day, you may or may not have to request a bowl of water for your dog. Either way, the food is tasty, and the staff is welcoming of dog guests. There are good drinks on the menu such as the Cucumber Chili Rita.  If you like guacamole, let the server make a fresh batch for you. Here are a couple of reasons I chose this restaurant as # 1 in the top 10 Best Dog Friendly Restaurants in Tampa Bay.

First, the New American and Small Plates and Shareable menu is wonderful. This menu includes Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Honey Garlic Naked Wings, Mediterranean Meatballs, and even Hummus.

The second reason The Living Room on Main is one of the Best Restaurants in Dunedin:

As quoted from their website

OUTDOOR PATIO:

“Enjoy the beautiful central Florida weather while dining on our giant outdoor patio. Do you have a dog? We love dogs! Bring yours to eat with you on the patio, we even have a menu for those furry members of your family.”
